Do I need to know maqam or music theory before I take this challenge?
Absolutely not! Since we will be learning maqam the organic way, you don't need any formal or informal music training whatsoever. 
Do I need to be able to play a musical instrument to take this challenge?
If you play an instrument, yes! Bring it along and start to apply what I teach you. If you don’t. All you need is your voice to action the daily prompts.
How much time will this take me?
I wanted this challenge to have the biggest impact in the shortest amount of time. The first 4 days of the challenge have 10-15 minutes actionable videos. It will take you 10 minutes max to do the prompts in addition. The Masterclass on day five is 60 minutes.
How do I access the challenge?
We start June 3rd ! The recording of Day 1 to 4 will be delivered right to your inbox each day. On Day 4, I will send a zoom link for you to join me live for the masterclass. There will be a limited time replay for the masterclass.
I am a complete newbie- is this relevant to me?
You are so incredibly lucky to start your maqam and taqsim journey on the right foot and save yourself decades of tedious trial and error. 
I am an advanced musician- will I learn anything new?
100%. You won’t find the information inside anywhere else on the planet and you certainly won't find it with this level of detail and clarity anywhere else. If you over traditional methods where you are told to copy or that you need to have the ‘Arab genes’ to be able to play a taqsim, this challenge will get you excited with how doable it is to take your taqsim to the next level without compromising your unique voice.
